  • Why brands should not only chase traffic

A complete growth system starts with traffic — but trust, inquiry, conversion and repurchase are where the brand is actually built.

Every brand team can buy traffic. Far fewer can turn it into trust, and fewer still into repeat revenue. The mistake is treating the click as the finish line when it is barely the starting gun.

    Traffic is rented attention.
    A brand is owned attention.

The five stages that actually compound

Traffic, trust, inquiry, conversion, repurchase. Most budgets pour in stage and starve the other four. But the economics live downstream: a 10% lift in repurchase is worth more than a 30% drop in cost-per-click, and it does not erode the moment you stop paying.

A growth system is not a funnel you optimise top-down. It is a loop you reinforce from the bottom up – because satisfied repeat buyers are the cheapest traffic source you will ever find.

Start by instrumenting the back half. If you cannot see where trust breaks and where repurchase stalls, no amount of front-end spend will save the model.
